The House Appropriations Committee has not yet released its official guidance for FY27. Please note that the FY27 guide below reflects FY26 guidance. Once the newest guidance has been released, this language will be updated.
Community Project Funding (CPF) is an initiative started in FY22 that allows Members of Congress to request direct funding for projects that benefit the communities they represent. Please see the attached guidelines prepared by our office, as well as official House Republican guidance FY26 Member Request Guidance | House Committee on Appropriations - Republicans.
(Also see https://appropriations.house.gov/fy26-member-requests/fy26-guidance-overview.)
Per Republican Committee Rules, each House member is able to submit up to 15 projects to the Appropriations Committee for consideration.
Please review all applicable CPF eligibility and application guidance on the Appropriations Committee’s website, and email all community support and other documentation to Ansari.Approps@mail.house.gov and Zachary.Freiman@mail.house.gov.

Disclaimer
Submission of this information does not create a binding commitment on any party nor a guarantee that any organization or program will be awarded funding from any federal agency through the appropriation process.
