AZ03 Community Ambassador Program
The AZ03 Community Ambassador Program is a six-month leadership and civic engagement volunteer program designed to provide community members with a firsthand look at how a congressional district office serves its constituents. Through educational briefings, community outreach opportunities, and direct engagement with district staff, Community Ambassadors gain valuable experience in public service while strengthening their connection to the communities they serve.
Ambassador Cohort III will run from August 2026 through January 2027.
About the Program:
Community Ambassadors support our office's community engagement efforts throughout Arizona's Third Congressional District. Participants will learn how a congressional office works, gain insight into federal policy and constituent services, and develop skills that can be applied in public service, advocacy, nonprofit leadership, and civic engagement.
Throughout the six-month program, ambassadors will:

Receive regular legislative and policy briefings from district staff.

Learn how a congressional district office serves constituents and addresses community concerns.

Participate in community outreach events and public engagements.

Build relationships with local leaders, nonprofit organizations, and community stakeholders.

Develop skills in public service, civic leadership, communication, and community engagement.

Gain exposure to careers in government, advocacy, public policy, and community organizing.
By the completion of the program, ambassadors will have a deeper understanding of the role of Congress, the responsibilities of a district office, and the importance of constituent services in strengthening communities.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old at the start of the program.
