Ansari, 119th Congress Certify 2024 Election Results

WASHINGTON – Today, on the fourth anniversary of the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol, U.S. Representative Yassamin Ansari and the 119th Congress certified the results of the 2024 election.

“Today, Democrats upheld their constitutional duty to certify our free and fair election,” said Rep. Ansari. “Trust in our democracy is paramount, and I will always work to safeguard our Constitution. As we continue to work to overcome the dark stain of violence this day left on our Capitol, we remember the lives of those fallen and injured four years ago, their families, and the sacrifices they made.”
